GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Finishing Works Architect” to be assigned to our projects in Mozambique.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Engineering or Architecture departments from universities,
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in large-scale superstructure construction projects, with at least 5 years in the position of Finishing Works Manager,
- Proficient in planning, material, and implementation processes of finishing works, • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SketchUp programs,
- Experienced in architectural detail solutions, cost estimation, and quantity surveying,
- High representational skills
- Strong communication skills,
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities,
- Results and quality-oriented, • Responsible and disciplined,
- Team-oriented and able to use initiative,
- Able to delegate tasks and lead a team,
- Proficient in ERP programs,
- Able to adapt to a demanding work pace and flexible working hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prepare the work program for finishing works of the project.
- Ensure that the works under their responsibility are completed on time, in accordance with the project, with the desired quality, and within budget by following the project work program.
- Evaluate the project, manufacturing, and detail drawings and coordinate their compliance with technical specifications with the Design Office.
- Coordinate finishing works with construction, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
- Organize, manage, and supervise subcontractor teams.
- Check and approve the billing of works related to the relevant scopes of work
- Prepare tender documents for subcontractor and supplier packages related to the relevant scopes of work.
- Work in coordination with the HSE team on the project.
- Ensure the implementation and sustainability of HSE and Environmental Management Systems on the project and support the HSE team.
