GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Mechanical Works Engineer” to be assigned to our projects in Mozambique.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department of universities,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale residential projects,
- Particularly experienced in Heating, Cooling, Ventilation Systems, and Building Mechanical Automation,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD programs,
- High material and detail knowledge,
- Familiar with billing, comparison, planning, and reporting processes,
- Strong communication and management skills,
- Organized, disciplined, able to organize teamwork.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitor and report on the operations of all mechanical project and construction works,
- Play an active role in managing relationships in the material approval process,
- Organize and coordinate the field team to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the work program and quality rules,
- Ensure effective resolution of problems encountered during the manufacturing process,
- Identify materials and devices to be supplied to the project, and follow up on the tender processes,
- Coordinate with subcontractors, construction site, and other technical disciplines,
- Ensure effective implementation of quality, occupational health, and safety rules,
- Adapt to a demanding work pace.
