QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Site Civil Engineer” to be assigned to our projects in Mozambique.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of the Civil Engineering Department of universities,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale superstructure projects,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD programs,
- Experienced in site mobilization,
- High material and detail knowledge,
- Familiar with billing, comparison, planning, and reporting processes,
- Organized, disciplined, and team-oriented,
- Able to adapt to a demanding work pace and flexible working hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Supervise the manufacturing works for which they are responsible according to the technical specifications, ensuring they are completed in target periods and quality according to the work program,
- Coordinate and supervise the field team to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the work program and quality rules,
- Check subcontractor billings, conduct quantity surveys based on completed works, and report discrepancies,
- Coordinate with Design, Finishing, Electrical, and Mechanical Works teams,
- Prepare any necessary correspondence, meeting notes, reports, etc., for the monitoring and continuation of the work, and maintain file/topic tracking,
- Ensure effective implementation of quality, occupational health, and safety rules.
